JATV-Ch. 12 assembled a panel of lawyers to discuss the impact of the proposed Trapping/Hunting/Fishing Rights amendment to the Wisconsin Constitution.

 Opposition to Amendment Arguments

1) WHY SIGN THE SAFE SPACE PETITION?

Safe Space Legislation, for the first time, asserts as PRIMARY, the right of all individuals, including those who do not hunt, to

a) protection from personal and property injury caused by hunters;

b) compensation for any and all consequences of injury by those who assert the right to discharge dangerous weapons in the name of recreation on dual use lands;

c) safe enjoyment of their private property, their homes, business, vehicle and land,

d) equal use of public land, forest, parks, preserves, sanctuaries, and wilderness.

Please circulate or place the petition on your web sites.

I believe many Wisconsin residents will find the Safe Space Legislation very reasonable in light of the fate of the Wisconsin woman who was shot and killed by hunters while simply walking her dogs. Read about it here

Please fill in the following to place your name on the Safe Space Petition.
